Frédéric Prat is a visual artist who lives and works in Paris. Since the 1990s, he has developed a body of work grounded in the concerns of contemporary abstraction. His pictorial practice explores the tensions between color, form and surface, questioning the modes of perception and the limits of the painting. His work is regularly exhibited in France, Germany and Luxembourg, and is notably held in the collections of the MUDAM (Musée d’Art Contemporain du Luxembourg).
